What we can do for you
Video for Medics offers a wide range of recording, editing, and general IT services.
Simulcasting (Local or webinar): We will create a crystal clear and synchronised AV package that can be broadcast live, either locally to another theatre in the venue, or over the web to anywhere in the world. We will work with you to choose and arrange the elements of the broadcast (video feed of speaker, direct feed of computer presentation, audience cameras for Q&A, etc.) We can even integrate live Twitter hashtag support for your event, so you can receive feedback and questions in real time.
Everything that we record or broadcast will be stored on our industry grade video storage, and backed up to our secure servers. We will then edit your video to your specifications, and add time stamped metadata to allow easy organisation of your files. Your video can then be transferred to hard media (DVD), or delivered to you digitally via a method that suits you.
If you have video and audio content from a previous seminar that isn’t quite presenting the image you would like in terms of quality, we can help. We will edit and synchronise the content into a cogent and engaging package for you to share. We can even take the PowerPoint files from the presentation and match them up with the speaker, to ensure your audience are getting the whole picture.
Web conferencing and remote interactivity are powerful tools to broaden participation in medical education, however there can be a steep learning curve when it comes to utilising their full potential. We are certified operators of the industry standard WebEx platform from Cisco, able to create personalised video conferencing and training solutions. We will work with you before the event to make sure everything is seamless so you can focus on what really matters.
We can work with your to provide any kind of local networking services you may need for your event. Nothing ruins the flow of a conference more than technical problems, or delegates not having access to the correct materials. We can make sure your venue is providing adequate wireless internet for your needs, and in some cases we can even create a secure local file network, allowing delegates to access large files wirelessly (e.g. digital pathology).
Why record your conference or seminar?
Organising a medical conference takes a great deal of planning and work, but can be extremely rewarding for speakers and delegates alike. By making a high quality recording of your event, you can ensure that the benefits last longer and reach a larger audience.
Distributing professionally made audio-visual recordings of your speakers and their presentations, either live or after the event, allows you to move beyond the logistics of who is able to attend your event in person and instead reach any interested party, worldwide, at a fraction of the cost of other solutions.
And for presenters and organisers, what better way to demonstrate your skills as an efficient organiser or engaging public speaker than creating a recording of your successful conference?
